The children have been planting seeds and beans. We have set up a greenhouse in the classroom and will be learning about plants and healthy foods. We are eager to see how they turn out! Keep watching…

The children have enjoyed a PE lesson with animalates this morning.

We were amazed to see feet hanging from the ceiling this morning. Who’s could they be?

The children are really enjoying the story of the three little pigs. There is a crime scene set up in Reception, the children have been made into detectives and are searching for the criminal.  Have you seen the big bad wolf?

The children enjoyed their visit from the community police officer. They asked lots of questions and learned how police help the community.

If you have any dominoes at home, get them out and start playing! The children have enjoyed matching the numbers and recognising different ways to show numbers.

We would like to wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year . Thank you for all our lovely gifts and we can’t wait to see our children back in the new year.

Miss Warren and the reception team

Reception have had a visitor since December. He is an elf. The Elf has asked us to make salt decorations for the tree. What do you think?

Reception believe in doing kind acts throughout the year. Therefore, we decided to send a Christmas card to another Reception class and pass on the Christmas cheer. Miss Warren picked the school and they replied with this beautiful handmade card. We then researched the school and where Nottingham was. It was fun finding out about different places in our county.

The children have been so excited to perform. They have worked really hard and sang beautifully.
